She has high standards for her subcontractors, yet we saw her work with them in a mutually respectful and collaborative way. The major subs who worked with Jennifer share her commitment to quality, dependability and service. They too always gave a little more to do things well. Their approach and positive attitude really made a difference in quickly and thoroughly resolving some of the little glitches that will always show up in the process and even after a home is built.

Jackie and I moved to Chapel Hill after 8 years on an overseas assignment.

Although we have relocated and lived in 14 different places, this was our first attempt at building a house. We cannot say enough about the positive experience we had with Jennifer Lewis. Beyond the well-built structure, Jennifer captured the nuance of what we were looking for as we attempted to blend many of the features of our other homes into a custom-designed residence. The attention to detail and easy two-way communication were superb. Several of our friends asked us why we were going through the tedious process of building -- that it would be a nightmare.
